On the importance of pride and engagement among student athletes
the years are… are just as proud as I am of Western as an academic and athletic institution. I think that’s so important. When you have engaged students on campus or even in high school, or at any time in their life. When you have engaged students, you’re gonna have successful students, because, it just offers so much. In terms of keeping them focused and keeping them disciplined. Organized. And things of that nature. I think the combination of athletics and academics is a great, great formula for good.
