Bob Farley On the expectations of practices “I think it was, as I say, it was a matter of hustle. And if you, you were out there and you worked, and you did what he told you to do, your chances of making the team and uh, staying there were good. And that, that’s the way I always thought of John. That’s why I was always very critical of, and very suspicious of somebody who would say, “Well so-and-so was there and he didn’t get a good deal from John.” And so on, and so on. Someone who came into high school, into university with an athletic reputation that far exceeded mine and here I’m playing and he isn’t, and I can name four or five. And I worked out with them and so on and I can see why they didn’t make it, because they were basically prima donnas.” Next: Bill Glover Previous: Francis Eberhard Back to Browse
