On time Management

But I think it happens with all the teams. The majority of
athletes. This is my opinion, to be able to play at the University level, you have to be outstanding in your community, at the high school level, or at the club level. You know, some kids that come to us play on provincial teams, they’ve played on the national team. So, in order to get to that level where you can compete, your time management skills have to be very, very good. And I think that’s what it is. I mean, even a lot of the players that come in today, their time management in strong, it’s one of their best qualities. And they can take the time they need for their academic studies as well as.. ya know, come to, to training and prepare to play a game on Saturday and Sunday… and do they fall a little bit behind? Yeah, because I mean, ya know when our soccer season goes from the middle of August when training camp opens and we finish the end of October. And they’re going six times a week… so they have to really know how to juggle, you know, their academic studies with their, with their practicing. So it’s not something that just comes out of the blue. It’s something that they have been able to do.
