“My philosophy is not only to coach athletes and develop them to the best of their athletic ability, my main goal is to develop people, and help those student athletes be the best students they can be, certainly be the best athletes they can be, but number one be the best person they can be. By being able to provide them with some experience from outside the university team, doing some work in the community, being an advocate for their sport, volunteering with our kids programs, and getting some outside of sport experience, helps them develop as people.”
